antonio conte italyNewly appointed Chelsea coach Antonio Conte is planning to raid Serie A side Inter ahead of his arrival at Stamford Bridge.

As he prepares Italy for the forthcoming European Championships this summer, Conte has already identified various players who is keen to take with him to England.

According to The Metro, Conte’s primary target is the Argentinian striker Mauro Icardi, who had previously been connected with a Juventus switch during Conte’s tenure in Turin.

Another Inter player that could be the subject of Conte’s interest is Jeison Murillo. Conte views the central defender as an ideal replacement for John Terry, who is likely to leave Chelsea at the end of the season.

Further Nerazzurri targets include winger Ivan Perisic and midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, who have both been rumoured with a Stadio Giuseppe Meazza departure at the end of the season.

However, Inter will aim to resist the temptation of selling these four players for as long as possible, as coach Roberto Mancini is specifically keen to retain most of his current squad.
