After seeing his side lost 2-0 at Empoli, Paulo Sousa did not comment on whether he would be at Fiorentina next season.
There have been reports linking Sousa with Russian side Zenit Saint-Petersburg but Sousa is only focused on the rest of campaign.
“I dont think I should be asked about such things,” Sousa told reporters after the game. “All the speculation is normal but at the same time not worth reporting on.
“I am concerned about the recent results. We created chances for ourselves but we just weren’t decisive in front of goal.
“Empoli scored with their first chance on goal. We tried to get back into the game but our efforts weren’t enough.”
Fiorentina now appear out of the race for the top three after their latest defeat and face Sassuolo at home next week.
