Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli has praised the team spirit of this season.
After Roma beat second place Napoli on Monday afternoon the Bianconeri’s fifth consecutive Scudetto was confirmed, and Barzagli already had his victory speech prepared.
“We have become a real team with very solid players and now we have also become champions,” he said to Premium Sport.
Clearly hungry for even more success with the Old Lady, the Italy international then turned his attention to the upcoming Coppa Italia final – an occasion that Juventus fans can be forgiven for forgetting after Monday’s celebrations.
“The season is not over,” he reminded.
“We still have the Coppa Italia final to play, and we plan to celebrate that and win even more trophies.”
AC Milan are Juventus’ opponents for the Coppa Italia final, contested in Rome on May 21.
