ruganiJuventus defender Daniele Rugani has expressed his admiration for the Bianconeri’s defensive trio of Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini.

The Italian starlet has struggled for playing time for much of the season following his summer move from Empoli but the 21-year-old is now enjoying an extended run in the first team and remains full of praise for the impact that the side’s defensive triumvirate have on him.

“The BBC are three unbelievable defenders, who have the perfect mix of attributes,” Rugani told Sky Sport Italia.

“Barzagli is always highly concentrated, it’s difficult to distract him.

“Bonucci has a strong personality and is able to lead the team under pressure, while Chiellini brings aggressiveness, physicality and competitiveness.”

While the youngster has come into his own as the season has progressed, he understands there is much yet to learn from his seniors.

“I am fortunate to be able to train with them daily and I always try to learn as much from them as I can,” he concluded.
