Lazio are allegedly arranging a bid for Southampton striker Graziano Pelle, according to reports.

The Italian forward is reportedly seen by the Biancocelesti hierarchy as a perfect replacement for Germany legend Miroslav Klose, who is set to leave the club this summer.

According to The Daily Mirror, Lazio president Claudio Lotito is a big fan of the 30-year-old Pelle, and could be ready to sign him during the summer transfer window.

The Italy international, whose deal with Southampton expires in June 2017, would therefore be returning to Serie A, where he played in the past wearing the colours of Parma and Lecce.

The striker is valued in the region of €11 million, but Lazio could get a better deal considering the soon-expiring contract he has with the Saints.

Pelle has managed to accumulate 28 Premier League appearances during this season, scoring 10 goals.
