FC Internazionale Milano and Torino FC - Serie AInter coach Roberto Mancini has refused to give up on securing third place in Serie A ahead of Saturday’s clash with Napoli at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The 51-year-old tactician admitted the Nerazzurri will need to be at the top of their game if they are to overcome the Partenopei despite the visitors being without star striker Gonzalo Higuain through suspension.

“There’s still 18 points available,” Mancini told reporters during his pre-match press conference.

“It will be difficult but we have to continue to believe we can achieve third place. Napoli are very strong even without Higuain, we will have to be very careful.”

Mancini refused to comment on Inter’s summer transfer targets or his own future, instead choosing to focus on the remainder of the season.

“We have to think about these last six games,” he added.

“There are a lack of key players for the future to help this young team, but now we’re only thinking about the end of the current season.

“We will try to do our best in the market, trying not to make mistakes. With regards to my future, I can’t keep answering the same question every week.”
