Marco Verratti (Paris Saint-Germain)Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti is happy in France and isn’t trying for a move to Italy.

The Italy international has excelled for PSG in France over the past few seasons and has been linked with a return home one day, although that day is very unlikely to occur any time soon after his agent’s latest comments.

“We are happy in Paris,” his representative told Radio TMW.

“He has improved so much here, and I don’t think he would have the room to do the same in Italy.”

Verratti has drawn some comparisons with Italy legend Andrea Pirlo for his playing style, and whilst his agent isn’t a big fan of the link he admitted he can see it too.

“I don’t like to compare him to Pirlo,” he continued.

“But he will be essential to the national team. He is currently one of the best players in Europe.”

The midfielder has 15 caps to his name for the national team, although he’s already made in excess of 100 appearances for PSG in league competition.
