Roma forward Diego Perotti has admitted the Giallorossi can’t afford to drop anymore points if they are to overtake Napoli and claim second place in the Serie A table after their 1-1 draw against Bologna at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Monday evening.
The 27-year-old Argentine attacking midfielder believes their second half performance deserved all three points but has turned his attention to their trip to face Atalanta on Sunday morning.
“We have missed out on a good opportunity to win at home,” Perotti told Premium Sport following the match.
“But, we did have a very good second half. We deserved to win but now we must think about Atalanta at the weekend. Bologna have created just one chance and they scored it. We have done so much to win, especially in the second half.
“We can not lose any more points, especially at home, so we have to win on Sunday.”
