Totti RomaRoma boss Luciano Spalletti believes he is being poorly portrayed after a thrilling 3-2 comeback over Torino.

Andrea Belotti and Josef Martinez netted, but Kostas Manolas and a brace from Roma legend Francesco Totti completed the win.

“It was a crucial result, especially when you take into account the results elsewhere,” Spalletti told Premium Sport post match.

Totti had an alleged altercation with Spalletti at the conclusion of their previous fixture, a thrilling 3-3 draw against Atalanta.

“Totti did what I wanted, he went between the defenders and there was a massive roar when he equalised, it was beautiful,” Spalletti added.

“He is an excellent asset to have in the team, he brings an incredible boost when he goes on to the field and he can always decide matches.”

“We were coming back from two consecutive draws and we have suffered mentally, but this will give us enthusiasm and desire.

“We are a quality team, and I know I am being portrayed as the bad guy but I only think about winning games.”

Roma move to within five points of Napoli once again, but importantly open up a seven point gap over Inter.
