Having joined Bologna on a season-long loan from Sunderland in the summer, Emanuele Giaccherini has since confirmed that he would like to remain in Serie A following the end of this current deal.
The talented Italian midfielder has insisted that he is enjoying his football with Roberto Donadoni’s side, and he is now determined to work hard until the end of the current campaign.
“I am focused on working hard until the end of the season,” said Giaccherini to Sky Sport Italia. “The market is only consequence of what I am doing on the field.
“I feel good at Bologna and I am happy. I would like to stay but we must wait for things to happen.
“Now it is important to finish the season well.”
The 30-year-old has made 25 domestic league appearances so far this season, scoring a total of seven goals in the process.
