Valencia NegradoIt has emerged that AC Milan and Inter will go head to head this summer for Valencia striker Alvaro Negredo.

The Spaniard didn’t have the best of campaigns, as he only managed to score five goals in 25 La Liga appearances. That hasn’t fazed either side, whom both believe that the 30-year-old has what it takes to succeed in Serie A.

With a highly disappointing 10th place finish in the league for Valencia, a meeting is planned over the next few days between the club and Doyen Sports regarding Negrado’s future, according to Marca.

Valencia will be looking to get the striker off the books as soon as possible as he has not lived up to the hype at the Mestalla.

With a disappointing campaign overall, Negredo will look for a change of scenery, with the San Siro looking to be his most likely destination. His goal scoring abilities are not to be overlooked, as he has enjoyed good spells at Almeria, Sevilla and Manchester City during his career.
