brocchiAC Milan coach Cristian Brocchi insists that his side are on the right path, despite another disappointing result.

The Rossoneri could only manage a 3-3 draw against Frosinone which leaves them out of a Europa league spot with two matches remaining, but Brocchi does not consider this performance to be a further slip in form.

“If you believe that Milan slipped today, then you did not watch the match,” Brocchi told Premium Sport.

“We conceded on the first shot, right at the beginning of the match which made things difficult for us.

“However, we responded well and created a lot of chances throughout the match.

“We should not be conceding three goals at home but we did not play poorly by any stretch of the imagination.”

Much has been said about the tactical setup that the 40-year-old has chosen to implement but the coach maintains that it is the players who dictate the formation.

“I don’t worry about the formation, I evaluate what works best each week with the players I have at my disposal,” Brocchi said.

“The tactical setup was not an issue today, we built from the midfield and had our strikers cause problems for the defence.”
