Chievo coach Rolando Maran has praised the performance of his team after the Mussi Volanti drew 0-0 against Fiorentina in Verona on Saturday night.
The Gialloblu limited the Viola to shots from range, whilst also coming within a whisker of winning the match themselves and Maran was pleased with how the match played out.
“Today the boys were fantastic, we played well and we finished the game on a high,” Maran told Premium Sport.
“We have become used to being in the top half of the table and we want to stay here.
“The players are still working hard despite the fact that we have already surpassed our target for this season.
“We can still improve of course, a team must always look to to get better.”
The 52-year-old was then asked whether or not he will be behind the Chievo bench next season and the Italian was cautious in his response.
“When the season finishes I will speak with the club as I am yet to evaluate my options,” Maran concluded.
