Higuain Napoli EmpoliJose Mourinho is reportedly interested in bringing Napoli star Gonzalo Higuain to Manchester United.

The Portuguese tactician is widely expected to be joining the Red Devils this summer and is believed to already be in the process of gathering recruits.

According to the Daily Mirror, Mourinho is keen on signing Higuain, and was in attendance for Roma’s clash with Napoli last Monday.

The Argentina international has a release clause of €94 million and will only be allowed to leave Maurizio Sarri’s side if a club are willing to trigger it.

The 28-year-old has amassed a tally of 32 goals in all competitions for the Partenopei which tops the Serie A goalscoring charts, having scored 14 times more than next-best Paulo Dybala.

Higuain joined Napoli in 2013 from Real Madrid for a fee in the region of €40 million and worked under Mourinho at Los Blancos between 2010-2013.
