thohirInter President Erick Thohir wants the Nerazzurri to once again to be included in discussions regarding the world’s top 10 clubs.

The Nerazzurri seemed well on their way to making a significant step at the turn of the year, but ultimately fell out of a Champions League spot due to a poor second half of the season, and the business tycoon doesn’t want to repeat the same mistakes again.

“The path will not be easy but we want to be among the best 10 clubs in the world again,” Thohir told members of the media at the new Inter Store di Galleria Passarella.

“Those who arrive for next season must respect these colours, if everyone supports the cause then we will return to the Champions League.

“Our aim is to build a competitive team both in Italy and in Europe, while respecting UEFA’s Financial Fair Play parameters, otherwise we will be punished like Galatasaray.

“We will find new owners to assist in our rebuild, but we are not going to find eight new owners, only one or two.”
