Inter are set to sign Fenerbahce full-back Caner Erkin on a free transfer, it has been revealed by the player’s agent.
The 27-year-old is out of contract this summer and is searching for a new club. But the player’s agent has insisted that his client will be signing for the Italian giants.
“In a few days there will be some news, the wait is over. There is an agreement in place with Inter,” confirmed Altiparmak Batur in an interview with FcInternews.
“However, I must add that Inter aren’t the only option we have. Before the Euros, it will be made clear which team Erkin will be play for next season.
Erkin only featured in 13 out of a possible 34 matches for his side this season in Turkey’s top flight. He made 27 appearances in all competitions for the Turkish outfit, scoring one goal and providing eight assists.
