Darmian - ItalyMatteo Darmian picked up a knock during Manchester United’s clash with Norwich City on Saturday, adding to Italy coach Antonio Conte’s worries.

So far it is not clear the extent of Darmian’s injury, but having lost Mattia Perin, Claudio Marchisio and Marco Veratti in recent weeks, any sight of an Italian player being stretchered off will leaving Azzurri fan biting their nails.

After just 16 minutes Darmian went down during the Premier League game at Carrow Road and the former Torino man could not continue before being stretchered off. He appeared to be in serious discomfort as he made his way off the field of play.

It would be a major blow for Darmian who could not only miss out on his first European championships but also the FA Cup final later in the moth which is against Crystal Palace at Wembley.
