Juventus serious damage in the Coppa Italia final, says Bianconeri boss Massimiliano Allegri.

The Rossoneri finished in a lowly seventh place in the Serie A season, but doesn’t mean that they aren’t to be respected as they fight for their last chance at securing European competition for next year says Allegri.

“We’re aware that we are about to play in a final,” he told the press in his pre match conference.

“We’re playing a Milan side who are presented with their last chance to claim a spot in the Europa League.

“We’ll have to be very good on Saturday.”

Allegri also discussed whether there was a danger in being labelled as heavy favourites for the trophy, saying that whilst he didn’t see it as being dangerous there was still a need to proceed with caution.

“Nothing is dangerous, the important thing is to not underestimate how much effort we need to put in,” he continued.

“Then, after the game, we can go on vacation.”
