zaza-azione-juventus-luglio-2015-ifaDespite Simone Zaza failing to establish himself as a first-team regular at Juventus, the Bianconeri are reluctant to let the striker leave this summer.

The former Sassuolo forward has been the subject of much transfer speculation throughout the season, with Premier League sides West Ham United and Southampton being touted as possible destinations.

La Gazzetta dello SportĀ have reported that the two clubs’ interest has continued, though the Old Lady are keen to keep hold of the Italian.

As Juventus marched to their fifth successive Scudetto title in 2015-16, Zaza accumulated just five Serie A starts, making an additional 14 appearances as a substitute.

Zaza managed to find the net five times in Serie A last season, including the decisive goal in his side’s defeat of Napoli, that saw them leapfrog the Partenopei at the table’s summit in February.
