As the summer transfer window rapidly approaches, Arsenal are reportedly keen on stepping up their efforts to sign Juventus defender, Daniele Rugani.
The Gunners had previously submitted a bid for Rugani during the previous transfer window, although the deal did not go through due to the player’s desire to remain in Turin and fight for a first team place.
According to The Daily Express, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is set to reignite his interest in the 21-year-old, and is eager to lure him to the Premier League during the forthcoming few months.
However, reports also indicate that Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is keen to retain his defensive starlet, as he views him as a future star within his formidable defensive unit.
Since joining the Bianconeri from Empoli last summer, Rugani has made a total of 17 Serie A appearances for Juventus.
