Pavoletti GenoaGenoa‘s Leonardo Pavoletti is reportedly a target for both AC Milan and Lazio, as the two sides prepare to compete for the striker during the forthcoming transfer window.

The Biancocelesti and the Rossoneri have scouted the 27-year-old for some time now, and it is looking increasingly likely that the player’s future will be away from the Stadio Luigi Ferraris come the summer.

According to LaLazioSiamoNoi.it, Milan could have the edge in the race for Pavoletti, as the forward has already revealed that his preference would be to join the Northern Italian outfit.

However, Biancocelesti president, Claudio Lotito, has not been deterred by Pavoletti’s preference, and he is ready to make an offer in the region of €13 million.

Pavoletti was in superb form for Genoa last season, scoring 14 goals in 25 Serie A appearances.

However, these impressive statistics were not enough to secure a spot in Antonio Conte’s Italy squad, as the tactician decided to omit Pavoletti from his group travelling to the European Championships.
