lucas bigliaLazio midfielder Lucas Biglia has become a transfer target for English giants Manchester United, who are searching for a replacement for veteran playmaker Michael Carrick.

The Red Devils are expected to let Carrick leave on a free transfer in the summer and they have once again turned their attention towards the Aquile’s 30-year-old Argentine international.

According to the Daily Express, Biglia is currently contracted to Lazio until June 2018 but the Biancocelesti are hoping that he will sign a two-year contract extension which will keep him at the club until June 2020.

If he does not, Manchester United could sign the midfielder for approximately €19m.

Along with the Red Devils, Inter coach Roberto Mancini would like to bring the Argentinian midfielder to the Nerazzurri and Juventus are also keen to lure him away from Lazio.

Biglia joined Lazio from Belgian giants Anderlecht in 2013 and he has scored 11 goals in 99 matches since he arrived at the club.
