Lazio midfielder Antonio Candreva has dismissed transfer rumours that would see him depart from the Stadio Olimpico this summer.
The Biancocelesti moved into eighth place in the Serie A table after a convincing 2-0 victory over Inter on Sunday evening, but the 29-year-old has grown tired of insistent rumours of a potential move to the Nerazzurri, as well as Barcelona.
“I do not wish to answer any questions about my future, there have been a lot of rumours but right now I’m only thinking about the end of this season and the European Championship,” Candreva told Sky Sport Italia.
The former Udinese man then turned his attention to his side’s latest positive result.
“This was an important victory after a disappointing season,” Candreva said.
“Coach Simone Inzaghi deserves this win, as he deserves a great future.
“I hope that he remains with the club, we have won three of our five matches since he arrived.”
