While Blues goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois seems poised to leave on the back of a disappointing season at Stamford Bridge, the Gunners may be interested in cashing in on an aging Petr Cech, and Handanovic is seen as an ideal replacement by both London clubs.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio traveled to the English capital to discuss a potential move with both sides, after concluding discussions with Manchester City over the attainability of Pablo Zabaleta and Yaya Toure.

The Nerazzurri value their goalkeeper at between €12m-€15m, and hope to attain a fee in that vicinity.

French side Paris Saint-Germain are also rumoured to be interested in the former Slovenia international.

The 31-year-old made 36 Serie A appearances for the Beneamata this past season, amassing 15 clean sheets.
