Right Back - Pablo ZabaletaManchester City full-back Pablo Zabaleta’s agent acknowledged that his client would be keen to test himself in Italy.

The Argentina international joined the club in 2008 after turning down the chance to join Juventus, although his future at the Etihad Stadium now appears unclear with Pep Guardiola to replace Mauricio Pellegrini over the summer.

“Guardiola wants to keep him, he has been in England for many years,” said the player’s agent Federico Pastorello to GR Parlamento.

“He will turn 31 soon and he would like to have a new experience in a different league, we’ll see if that happens this year or next but we could see him in Italy soon.”

Zabaleta’s contract with Manchester City runs out in 2017 and Inter have reportedly been monitoring his situation.
