AC Milan look set to lock horns this summer for PSV Eindhoven defender Jeffrey Bruma as each side targets defensive improvements.

The 24 year-old Dutch international has been an integral part of his side’s past two Eredivisie titles, racking up over 100 appearances in his three years at PSV.

Having justified the high expectations from his early years at Chelsea, a move abroad could be on the cards asĀ Corriere dello Sport puts both Milan club at the top of his list of suitors.

The Rossoneri could lose Philippe Mexes, Cristian Zapata and Alex this summer when their contracts expire, while Inter need to make a decision on Galatasaray loanee Alex Telles.

Inter are understood to have gained an advantage according to the same publication, with the Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio meeting Bruma’s agent in the last few days.

Should one of Jeison Murillo or Miranda leave this summer then Bruma would be viewed as an ideal replacement, but could still arrive regardless of any departures.

The Milanese clubs look to continue their dual on a number of fronts this June, as Paris Saint-Germain defender Gregory van der Wiel and Feyenoord star Tonny Vilhena are on the radar.
