Arsenal to prepare bid for Inter winger

ivan perisic interPremier League side Arsenal are interested in securing the services of Inter winger Ivan Perisic, following the conclusion of EURO 2016.

The Croatia international is allegedly held in high esteem by Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger, who veiws the views the 27-year-old as the ideal replacement for current winger Theo Walcott, who is being increasingly linked with a move away this summer.

According to TalkSPORT, the Gunners’ boss has chosen Perisic over Borussia Dortmund’s offensive midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan as his number one summer signing, and is now urging the club to table an offer within the coming weeks.

The former Wolfsburg player is currently engaged with the Croatian national team in the European Championship, where he recently secured his side a victory in their final Group D match.

In addition to his impressive form throughout the tournament so far, Perisic scored seven goals and assisted five others last season for the Nerazzurri.
