Roma star Miralem Pjanic.

The 26-year-old midfielder has been a target for Bianconeri coach Massimiliano Allegri for a while now, and the Old Lady are believed to be ready to make a decisive step in acquiring the player.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Sport Mediaset, Juventus’ sporting director Giuseppe Marotta flew to Rome for talks with the Giallorossi ahead of this potential star move, which could be completed before the end of June.

The fee for which Roma could let their midfielder go is believed to be in the region of €38 million. However, reports indicate that in the case of a transfer Pjanic would receive 15 per cent of the fee; this allegedly could result in an even lower price being negotiated.

Pjanic has shown great form throughout the season, accumulating 33 Serie A appearances with the Giallorossi, scoring 10 goals and delivering 12 assists in the process.
