Serie A giants Napoli are said to be eyeing a part-exchange deal with Bologna involving Amadou Diawara and Mirko Valdifiori.
The 18-year-old, who is a central midfielder by trade, made 35 appearances for the Rossoblu during the 2015-16 season and assisted once. His solid performances in the midfield have ignited interest from Serie A giants Napoli.
According to SportItalia, Napoli have offered Bologna €6 million with Valdifiori. The Naples-based club are said to be thoroughly interested in acquiring the starlet’s services, who has a contract at his present club till the year 2020.
30-year-old Valdifiori made only 15 appearances for Napoli this season, racking up two assists.
Diawara joined Bologna back in 2015 from San Marino for a fee in the region of €530,000, and has since gone on to catch the eye of many of Italy and Europe’s top clubs with his performances.
