higuain napoliNapoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis is reportedly willing to keep Argentinian star Gonzalo Higuain for two years and then let him leave for free.

The Azzurri president answered to the pressures created after Higuain’s brother and agent announced that the striker wants to leave the club after Napoli’s transfer campaign was below the expected levels.

According to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, De Laurentiis was not upset by this declaration and he is willing to let the player’s contract run down if he keeps refusing talks for renewal.

The Napoli boss has made it clear that he would consider negotiations with other clubs if and only if the buy-out clause, amounting to €94 million, is met.

The 28-year-old showed a stunning form throughout his Serie A season, scoring a record 36 goals in his 35 appearances.
