KoulibalyNapoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has made clear that he is willing to leave the Azzurri if a contract extension is not offered him in the near future.

The Senegal international has been repeatedly claimed to be a target for new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

“I still have three years in my contract with Napoli,” Koulibaly said to L’Equipe. “But now I have important offers on my table.

“There are big clubs interested in me, and I am going to do the thing that is best for me; not just economically, but also from a technical point of view.

“The negotiations with Napoli are at a standstill, and it is like they don’t want to negotiate with us.

“I think I am going to leave,” he said, making his intentions clear.” The management are playing dead and I have clubs interested in me, while they have disappeared.

“If I have to leave the club I will, even though I know how much I owe Napoli and the supporters.”

Koulibaly has played consistently with the Partenopei throughout the season, accumulating 33 Serie A appearances.
