De Sanctis - RomaRoma goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis has revealed he is exploring his options and could be interested in leaving the club during the summer transfer window.

The 39-year-old found himself amongst the substitutes bench for the majority of last season after losing his starting position to Arsenal loanee Wojciech Szczesny during the last Serie A campaign.

“I don’t want to quit playing football,” De Sanctis told Sky Sport Italia.

“I know I have a contract expiring on the 30th of June, but I don’t know what’s going to happen next.

“The club was very clear regarding this situation, so I’m looking around and there have been a couple of interesting proposals.”

De Sanctis struggled to find regular playing time throughout the whole of last season with the Giallorossi, accumulating just five league appearances. During those five outings, the former Udinese man conceded seven goals and failed to keep a clean sheet.
