jose sosaAC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani met with Jose Sosa in Ibiza as the Rossoneri look to sign the 31-year-old former Napoli player from Besiktas.

The club have been unable to act with much certainty in the transfer market as the arrival of Chinese investment waits to be formalised.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the reigning Turkish champions want to sell the player after he burned bridges by leaving the club’s pre-season camp to push through a move to Milan.

Besiktas are claiming that the player is worth €9 million but the Rossoneri feel that they could secure their first signing of the summer transfer window with a bid of €5m.

The Argentine made 31 appearances and scored seven goals for the Istanbul club during the 2015-16 Super Lig campaign.
