AC Milan are emerging as favourites for his signature.

Milan face competition for the player from city rivals Inter, but Cuadrado might be inclined to reunite with his former coach at Fiorentina, Vincenzo Montella, who is now in charge of the Rossoneri.

According to Corriere Dello Sport, Chelsea value the Colombian international at around €30 million and would allow the player to leave on one year loan only if an obligatory purchase clause is inserted into the contract.

The price-tag set by Chelsea could be an obstacle for Milan as their market is currently blocked due to takeover negotiations but the club could use the loan option and finance the deal after the sale of Carlos Bacca, who has been linked with both West Ham United and Arsenal.

Cuadrado is considered an ideal player for Montella’s 4-3-3 formation as he would bring much needed quality to the wings.

He spent last season on loan at Juventus, where he scored five goals in 40 appearances in all competitions.
