Juventus star Paul Pogba has been called off following strong speculation a move to Manchester United is imminent.

The French midfielder has been linked with the Red Devils all summer and rumours appeared to be slowing down recently, before Manchester United vice-president Ed Woodward was absent from their pre-season tour to secure a Pogba deal.

As a result, Ladbrokes have now suspended betting on whether the 23-year-old will move to England or not, as have a few others bookmakers.

“As far as we’re concerned all bets are off when it comes to Pogba making the move to United,” a spokesperson for Ladbrokes said.

“The betting suggests he could make an immediate impact as United start what many believe will be a title-winning season.”

A huge €120 million is the fee expected to be paid for Pogba soon.
