Roma man Kostas Manolas.

The 25-year-old has been closely followed by new Blues boss Antonio Conte and the rest of the English Premier League side’s management as they look for reinforcements for their back line.

According to GazzaMercato, Chelsea are hoping to convince the Giallorossi to let Manolas go with a bid worth €32 million, while they would offer the player himself a €4m-per-season contract.

The Greek international moved to Roma in 2014 in his first experience in Italian football, however is yet to claim any silverware for his efforts on the peninsula.

He previously appeared in the Superleague Greece, first for AEK Athens and then Olympiacos, winning the Greek cup tiwce and two league titles during his five years in the top flight.
