Inter set to beat AC Milan to Croatian starlet

pjacaDespite AC Milan almost certainly completing the signing of Marko Pjaca recently, cross-city rivals Inter look set to steal him next week.

The 21-year-old Croatian international put in promising performances for his national side at Euro 2016 before they were knocked out of the competition, and has attracted interest from fellow Serie A side Fiorentina and foreign clubs, such as Liverpool.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, however, the Nerazzurri are now expected to complete the transfer of Pjaca within the coming days with a medical schedule to take place on Monday.

It is believed that Inter will offer around €20 million to Pjaca’s current club Dinamo Zagreb for his signature.

After the medical, it is expected that all that is left is to dot the i’s and cross the t’s before Pjaca makes his way to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Il Biscione will hope the youngster’s record of 12 goals in 42 games last season will continue while in Italy.
