pogbaManchester United have had an offer for Juventus star Paul Pogba rejected by the reigning Scudetto holders.

Reports had suggested that the Old Lady accepted an offer from the Premier League giants, with some bookmakers even suspending betting on where the player’s future lay.

According to Sky Sport Italia, however, no agreement has been reached between the two clubs, with United’s €100 million offer being seen as insufficient.

Despite the rejection, it would appear as though the deal will happen before the summer’s end, with Jose Mourinho’s side setting their focus fully on the Frenchman, who left Old Trafford in 2012 on a free transfer.

Since joining Juventus, Pogba has gone on to win the Scudetto in each of his four seasons in Serie A, and has accumulated a total of 178 appearances.

During his time in Turin to date, the 23-year-old has found the net on 34 occasions, while also providing 43 assists.
