lapadulaFollowing his high-profile move from Pescara to AC Milan, Gianluca Lapadula has declared his desire to fire the Rossoneri back to success.

Milan beat off interest from a number of Italy’s top clubs to land the 26-year-old, most notably from Scudetto holders Juventus and last season’s runners-up Napoli.

“I don’t think many clubs have a home as nice [as the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza],” Lapadula began to Milan Channel. “Seeing the museum was exciting, it was great to see everything this club has won.

“The European Cup is the ultimate trophy. Looking around the museum gave me a huge desire to create history at this club. It will not be easy, but with the right mindset and hard work we can achieve great things.”

Continuing to be in awe of his new surroundings, Lapadula admitted he is looking forward to making his maiden appearance at the San Siro as a Rossoneri player.

“It will be nice to play there, especially in the shirt of Milan,” he added.

“It is the most beautiful stadium in Italy and I cannot even begin to imagine the feeling.”
