Lazio, the agent of winger Antonio Candreva has revealed it is time for his client to leave the Biancocelesti.

The 29-year-old has been linked with a move to Napoli in recent weeks, as well as a possible switch to AC Milan, and his agent has revealed that a transfer will happen soon.

“Candreva arrived at the Biancocelesi having to also deal with the dislike of some fans,” Federico Pastorello told Tele Radio Stereo.

“He won over everyone, but now Antonio has realised it is time to face some new challenges.”

Pastorello also cleared up any theories that Candreva’s departure could be due to the fans’ views on him.

“The fans are not to blame,” he said. “They shouldn’t be upset or annoyed, it is part of the logic that bring together players and clubs to make decisions before they go their separate ways.

“That doesn’t mean we will leave on bad terms.”

Despite confirming that Candreva will leave, Pastorello did not reveal which club he will play for next season.
