Lazio winger Antonio Candreva, after he didn’t turn up to pre-season preparations.

It was announced by Candreva’s agent earlier this summer that his client would leave the Biancocelesti before the new season begins, and that transfer looks set to be completed very soon.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the 29-year-old missed out on medical preparations at Lazio and has reached an agreement with the Nerazzurri to earn €2.3 million per season, should he sign a contract with the Stadio Meazza side.

Inter have spent a long time trying to bring in the services of Candreva and had to up their offer earlier in the transfer window, as Lazio president Claudio Lotito was not completely convinced that a transfer was the right action to take.

Candreva played for Udinese before moving to Lazio in 2012, and has appeared in 192 games in all competitions since, scoring 45 goals.
