Balotelli AC MilanLiverpool forward Mario Balotelli has been offered a chance to continue his career in Turkey as Besiktas have begun preliminary talks with the player’s agent, Mino Raiola.

The Italian striker is exploring new possibilities away from Merseyside after he has been told by manager Jurgen Klopp to find a new club.

According to Mediaset, Raiola met with Besiktas president Fikret Orman in Monaco to talk about the 25-year-old’s potential move to the current Turkish champions.

Negotiations are still in their initial stages and Raiola will now have to discuss with the player whether this move will help him revive his career.

Despite the confirmed interest from Besiktas, Balotelli might hesitate to accept the offer considering the political situation in Turkey and he has also been linked with Dutch giants Ajax.

The striker’s last two seasons with Liverpool and AC Milan were ones to forget as he managed to score only seven goals in 51 appearances for both clubs.
