After his exclusion from Inter‘s squad for their pre-season United States tour, Dodo looks set to return to Sampdoria on a permanent basis.
He went out on loan to the Blucerchiati in January this year for the remainder of the 2015/16 season, after moving to Inter from Roma in 2014, and played in 17 league games for them before returning to the Nerazzurri.
According to gianlucadimarzio.com, Dodo could make a quick return to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris as he appears to be unwanted by Inter boss Roberto Mancini, and Sampdoria are closing in on a two-year loan deal for the Brazilian with a compulsory outright transfer at the end of the spell.
The defender may have played a key part for Sampdoria last season, but he has only played in 29 games overall for Inter since moving to the Stadio Meazza.
