Zielinski PolandAfter his performances on loan for Empoli last season, AC Milan have shown an interest in signing Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski.

The 22-year-old, who spent the last two years at the Azzurri from parent club Udinese, grabbed a few goals last season and has put in promising performances, however, the sporting director of the Zebrette, Nereo Bonato, has revealed there are yet to be advanced talks between both parties.

“There is probably interest from AC Milan, but no further steps were made other than a chat,” he told Milannews.

“There was a request for information which would not go further.”

Milan will have to hurry to sign Zielinski, however, as Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has reportedly already agreed a deal with the player to bring him to the Stadio San Paolo.
