West Ham United are currently in pole position to sign AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca, but face competition from Atletico Madrid.
Bacca joined the Rossoneri last year and was a key part of their squad for the following season, scoring 20 goals in 43 games in all competitions, however a new offer made by West Ham could mean the end of his time in Italy.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the English Premier League side have offered around €30 million for the 29-year-old’s signature, which could be enough to persuade vice-president Adriano Galliani to sell the Colombian international.
Milan themselves paid around €30 million for Bacca when he joined last summer, but Galliani does not appear to be determined to make a profit.
Should he reject the offer made by the Hammers, there has also been an offer made by Spanish club Atletico Madrid worth €25 million.
