zazaDespite Simone Zaza’s lack of playing time during last season, German side Wolfsburg have continued their pursuit of the Juventus striker.

Zaza joined Juventus last season from Sassuolo, but struggled to find his place in the squad as the partnership between Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic became the preferred setup by coach Massimiliano Allegri.

According to calciomercato.it, Die Wolfe have offered €25 million to the Bianconeri for the 25-year old striker, who is expected to meet with his agent soon to discuss a potential move.

If all parties agree, Zaza will be presented with a four-year contract where he will earn around €3.3m per season.

Wolfsburg face competition for the striker’s signature, however, as Napoli have also expressed their interest in acquiring the Italian forward, with rumours claiming his name is part of a deal between them and the Bianconeri for star Gonzalo Higuain.
