De SciglioAC Milan could be forced to sell Mattia De Sciglio in order to fund their incoming transfers as takeover saga continues.

Amid interest from Napoli and Juventus, De Sciglio was made unavailable for transfer by the Rossoneri earlier in June as he was considered an important part of all-Italian Milan project.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Milan now might have to make a sacrifice and sell the player who is valued around €15 million and use the money for adding reinforcements.

The defender is expected to draw interest from Italian clubs but also from abroad with Liverpool being touted as a potential destination.

The 23-year-old wing-back is a product of the Rossoneri’s youth system. De Sciglio has featured on 106 occasions for Milan, and has also established himself as a regular for the Italian national team.
