AC Milan first team looking ever more unlikely, goalkeeper Diego Lopez has joined Spanish side Espanyol on loan.
The stunning performances by young starlet Gianluigi Donnarumma has put Lopez into second position at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, and thus he seeked a move away for more playing time.
La Liga side Espanyol confirmed on their Twitter account that they have brought in Lopez, before Milan also announced on their website that the 34-year-old has joined the Spaniards on loan until the summer of 2017.
