mario-balotelliDutch club Ajax are reportedly willing to offer Italian striker Mario Balotelli a new start after an unsuccessful season with AC Milan.

He was on loan at the Rossoneri last year from English Premier League side Liverpool but scored just three goals in all competitions in 23 games.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Ajax are looking for a replacement to striker Arkadiusz Milik, who recently joined Napoli, and have labelled Balotelli as a possible reinforcement.

The 25-year-old is currently training with the reserve team at Liverpool and doesn’t appear to be in any of manager Jurgen Klopp’s plans for the oncoming season.

Balotelli was also linked with a move to Turkish club Besiktas earlier this summer, while newly promoted Serie A side Pescara recently ruled out an unlikely move for the striker.
