Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic, who looks set to be replaced by Gonzalo Higuain.

The Croatian international is likely to be one of many strikers to be out of favour next season following the Bianconeri’s purchase of Napoli star Gonzalo Higuain.

As a result, he could seek a move away, and La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that a move to the Spanish La Liga is on the cards.

Blaugrana coach Luis Enrique is interested in the servives of Mandzukic and could choose him ahead of other possible targets the Spaniards may sign.

Mandzukic has scored 13 goals in 36 games since joining La Vecchia Signora from Atletico Madrid last summer.

He had won several German and Croatian league and cup titles before moving to Serie A, since when he has helped Juventus to a historic fourth-straight Scudetto.
